Dust Devil

Bull riding action from this weekend’s collegiate rodeo in River Falls, WI. This University of Wisconsin-River Falls cowboy had a good ride going, but got tossed by an ornery bull before his eight seconds were up.

Lots of wind-borne dust yesterday. I stationed myself with the dust blowing toward me, which also meant shooting toward the sun, a perfect combo for dramatic backlighting (although my eyes are still stinging today).
